A 105-square-meter apartment in the heart of Krakow's Zablocie district is our definition of a modern loft. A raw concrete ceiling and whitewashed brick provide a backdrop for a steel kitchen island, vintage icons, and warm, light textures.
Project description
Soft Loft: Industrial Heritage in a New Form The design of this 105-square-meter apartment in Krakow's Zablocie is our signature definition of a "Soft Loft"—a space where post-industrial rawness meets refined minimalism. The interior's foundation lies in the honesty of its materials: an exposed concrete ceiling with visible formwork and whitewashed brick walls serve as a backdrop for a monolithic brushed steel kitchen island and a light modular sofa. Graphic black accents and collectible vintage details, such as an original film set lamp, introduce a distinct character to the space. Blurring the boundaries between the bedroom and the bathing area, where a curved bathtub contrasts with a sculpturally veined large-format slab, creates a luxurious and unexpected counterpoint to the building's raw fabric.
